    ExecuSource has partnered with a reputable healthcare organization in Southlake, TX in the search for a Director of Payor Strategy & Population Health. Ideally, this candidate will be able to work locally in a hybrid capability but they are open to a fully remote for the right candidate.

    The Director of Payor, a senior-level role, is accountable for overseeing relationships with insurance payors, negotiating contracts, and reimbursement rates on behalf of healthcare entities. Typically situated within hospitals, healthcare systems, or physician groups, Directors of Payor ensure favorable terms with payors to support organizational financial sustainability. They engage in strategic planning, market trend analysis, and revenue optimization to enhance overall financial performance.

    Job Description:

    As the Director of Payor Strategy and Population Health, you'll lead managed care rate negotiations and shape our population health management strategy. Building and sustaining strong payor relationships, both remotely and in-person, while effectively articulating our value proposition, will be central to your role. Leveraging your analytical acumen and strategic insight, you'll drive profitability and align with organizational goals.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field

    Minimum 5 years of experience in managed care rate negotiation, payor strategy, or population health management

    Proven track record of building and maintaining favorable payor relationships

    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with persuasive abilities

    Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel modeling; familiarity with healthcare analytics tools preferred

    Strategic mindset with in-depth knowledge of health plan profitability and market dynamics
