    Full-Time School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Troy, TX

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a dynamic Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team in Troy, TX. This role is pivotal in supporting the speech and language development of students within the school district. As an SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, collaborating with school personnel to facilitate students' academic and social success.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify students' needs.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with various communication disorders.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to enhance the educational outcomes for students.
    • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to provide insights and adjust student education plans (IEPs) as needed.
    • Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy effectiveness.

    Qualifications:

    • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
    • Active Texas state licensure as an SLP.
    • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP); CFY candidates will be considered.
    • Demonstrated experience in a school setting is preferred.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
