Clinical Specialist - Diabetes
Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing medical device organization developing innovative diabetes-focused technologies designed for physician offices and clinical care teams.
This role will focus on collaborating with the sales teams, Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) and Endocrinologists to educate patients on available products and become a trusted clinical resource.
The ideal candidate has diabetes education, clinical and industry experience with the ability to build long-term provider relationships.Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales team to drive patient utilization of products within an assigned territory
Become a trusted clinical resource for the sales team as well as patients and healthcare professionals
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
Maintains knowledge and subject matter expertise of available products through trainings and certifications
Provide product support and training programs (onsite and virtual) to patients and healthcare professionals
Organize educational events, conferences and clinics in collaboration with sales team
Network and develop relationships with professional organizations to build education and future collaborations
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Min. 2+ years of training experience within a clinical and/or patient management setting
Registered Nurse, Certified Diabetes Educator and/or Registered Dietitian credentialing required with current, valid state licensure within the assigned territory
Strong Knowledge/Understanding of Diabetes required
Experience working with patients administering insulin required
Established contacts/relationships with PCPs and Endocrinologists preferred
Previous experience within diabetes medication/products and/or industry preferred
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities
Ability to travel within the assigned territory
Offering:
Base Salary to $120,000 (commensurate with experience)
Year 1 On-Target Earnings:
Bonus Payout - @ plan to $150,000 - $160,000
Expense reimbursement and car allowance $750
