    Who You'll Work With:

    The Trade Support Department at AB is the primary operational contact for all AB Trading Desks. The team allocates trades in the relevant order management systems and ensure that they are sent downstream correctly. The team is also responsible for the trade confirmation and the settlements process for fixed income, equity, listed derivative, collateral and foreign exchange trades.

    What You'll Do:

    We are seeking a Nashvillebased Trade Support Analyst to join our Trade Support Department in Global Technology & Operations.

    The Trade Support Analyst & Project Specialist is a key role for our firm providing daily maintenance on trades executed by AB's trading desk. The primary responsibility of the Trade Support Team is to confirm AB's trades for good settlement and to manage communication with our counterparties. The Team is also responsible for managing and implementing various projects throughout the year in response to changing market regulations or conditions as well as to reflect the goals of AB and GTO.

    The Trade Support team services all AB Trading Desks and order management systems. On a daily basis, the employee will use LVTS, Minerva and Microsoft Office; internal applications such as Apex, Portfolio Management System, ACE, and GO; and use multiple vendor systems including Bloomberg, CTM and ALERT. This responsibility includes managing trades for various products including fixed income, equity and foreign exchange trades. Other products could possibly fall within this scope as investment strategies change.

    The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Confirm and match trades in CTM, GTSS or via email.
    • Manage relationships with brokers and internal 'clients' such as Senior Level Management.
    • Assist in allocating trades across all products in the relevant order management systems.
    • Work with traders or middle office to ensure trade details are entered accurately.
    • Identify trades that require rebooking due to discrepancies in commission, fees, broker, etc.
    • Ensure that all settlement issues are handled properly.
    • Resolve claims issued by brokers and custodians.
    • Monitor and resolve failed trades.
    • Proactively identify production issues.
    • Identify trade breaks in confirmation process.
    • Manage exception queues to facilitate trades downstream to custodians.
    • Possibly manage private placement transactions.
    • Learn, implement, and possibly develop changes to existing processes.
    • Actively works with CTR Support Team & tests (possibly develops) changes.
    • Document changes to existing standard operating procedures.
    • Provide guidance to offshore teams.

    Qualifications, Experience, Education:
    • The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or another relevant discipline. 2+ years' experience in Trade Support, working with a team and meeting time sensitive deadlines.
