Techneaux is currently looking for a skilled Tier 2 or 3 Senior IT Technician to join our Business Information Technology Services (BITS) team. This person needs at least four years of experience as a Tier 2 or 3 technician.

    Requirements

    Job Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities outlined below include essential functions of the role.     As an IT Technician you will provide computer and systems support for our growing customer base including troubleshooting and maintaining server and network infrastructure both remotely and onsite.

    Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Manage all aspects of the networking platform
    • L2/L3 switches
    • OSPF and EIGRP routing
    • IPSEC VPNs
    • Cisco command line configuration
    • DNS and DHCP servers
    • Wireless technologies
    • Spanning Tree, LLDP, LACP
    • VOIP phone systems
    • Troubleshoot network & system issues (Packet capture, event viewer, etc.)
    • Monitor active network and server infrastructure
    • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
    • Administer network security measures to prevent system interruptions or breaches (MFA, RADIUS, email security, SSO, etc.)
    • Execute sensitive data backup and restoration procedures
    • Document all technical procedures and user guides
    Qualifications:
    • 4-5 years of experience as a Tier 2-3 network or systems administrator
    • Experience with Microsoft 365 (Azure AD, Intune, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Security/Compliance)
    • Experience with Active Directory (User management, GPO, Security Policies, etc.)
    • Experience with server virtualization (VMWare ESXi, vCenter, vSphere, Azure)
    • Experience with Server/Network monitoring software
    • Experience with Windows Server and Client Operating Systems
    • Ability to prioritize and multitask
    • Deadline and detail-oriented
    • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
