Job summary
We are seeking a Medical Technologist to join our team at Wellington Regional Medical Center. As a Medical Technologist, you will perform and interpret diagnostic procedures in all areas of clinical laboratory including chemistry, hematology, serology, coagulation, urinalysis, blood banking and microbiology.Responsibilities
- Performs and interprets diagnostic procedures in all areas of Clinical Laboratory: chemistry hematology serology coagulation urinalysis blood banking microbiology- Maintains daily quality control charts preventive maintenance records-Assists in orientation of new employees- Responsibility encompasses provision of care to patients 0 to geriatric age-May be required to perform phlebotomy-Will readily cross-train to other job descriptions float to other departments as deemed necessary by Laboratory Manager- The Med Technologist is under direct supervision Lab Section Supervisor/Lab Managerand accountable Director Laboratory Services.Job description
