    We are seeking a Capillary Spooling Technician or Supervisor (depending on experience) to become an integral part of our team

    This position is located in MIDLAND, TEXAS.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Job Description: The Installation and removal of capillary injection systems.

    • duties include but not limited to assisting the operator with loading and unloading of capillary units
    • units and getting them ready for travel.
    • to travel and navigate to various well locations.
    • is a must.
    • on site and in the shop include:
    • Assisting the operator with spooling capillary tubing onto trailer, removing bands or clamps with rig crew.
    • the operator with banding or clamping and operating the unit making sure the integrity of the capillary tubing remains intact and installation process is up to the customers standards and Flowco's standards.
    • Pumping and pressure testing of capillary strings on site and in shop.
    • in shop spooling capillary string and inspecting tubing.
    • with orbital welding of capillary, pull testing and pressure testing.
    • to remain on a job site for 12+ hours.
    • work as a team player. Our success is based off our ability to operate as a team.
    • maintain a good attitude toward onsite safety and facility safety.
    • out of town and out of state travel may be involved.

    Responsibilities:

    • Field Operator in yard and in the field with equipment.
    • execute all procedure laid out by companies and employer.
    • diagnostic analysis, repair, or preventative maintenance on equipment.
    • and adhere to all safety and training.

    Must be able to help maintain shop operations and equipment.

    • the ability to identify, evaluate, install, and repair related equipment in the shop as well as in the field.
    • must be able to accurately complete all job documentation as required.
    • be able to work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated.
    • Must be able to grasp basic mechanical and engineering concepts.
    • Must be able to and willing to work with diverse customer teams composed of members from different companies and with varying technical backgrounds.

    Requirements:


    • Must pass a drug test and background check


    • Must have U.S. work authorization.


    • Strong Written and verbal communication skills


    • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.


    • Mechanical background or the willingness to learn.


    • Able to learn new procedures and technical process.


    • Work in temperature extremes and adverse weather conditions


    • Valid driver's license (Class A CDL is a plus)


    • Ability to be on call and fit for duty including nights, weekends and holidays.

    This is a full time, non-supervisory Role.

    Work Schedule: Monday-Friday + Nights, weekends and some holidays. On call


    • Hourly wage is based on experience plus job bonus program


    • High School Diploma / GED, Technical certificate.
