- Assess the validity of claims and evaluate the strength of each case
- Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence to support claims
- Prepare and file legal documents, including complaints and motions
- Engage in settlement negotiations with manufacturers and dealerships
- Represent clients in arbitration or court proceedings when necessary
- Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents related to consumer protection and Lemon Law
- JD, Licensed to practice in good standing in Connecticut
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience practicing consumer protection law, preferably specializing in Lemon Law cases
- Strong knowledge of Lemon Law statutes, regulations, and legal precedents
- Ability to manage a high caseload and meet deadlines
