    CarelonRx's Pharmaceutical Rebates Org is looking to hire a Financial Consultant Sr - Rx Pharmacy Rebates . S/he will be responsible for data extraction and analysis used to monitor and optimize pharmacy rebate administration effectiveness. The Financial Consultant Sr. will also focus on other pharmacy rebate strategy functions including trend analysis and preparation of financial analysis used for decision support across multiple lines of business. The position will work in a hybrid way, one day a week from any US Elevance Health corporate office.

    How you will make an impact:

    • Extracts data and performs financial analysis to identify trends and emerging opportunities.
    • Performs financial modeling and works with cross-functional team to provide decision support analysis.
    • Focuses on business process improvement initiatives and leads and directs projects.
    • Tracks and manages details of contract scenarios and relevant terms to assure compliance.
    • Handles day-to-day activities/inquiries associated with rebate invoicing and reconciliation and identifies, investigates and facilitates resolution of issues as they arise.
    • Creates and implements metrics and supports performance measures to establish performance objectives for rebate administration process efficiencies and pharmacy rebate pricing optimization.

    Requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 5 years budgeting, forecasting and accounting financial reporting experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA, CPA, CMA, FSA, and/or CFA preferred.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) services and concepts, including familiarity with formulary management process and rebate administration in various lines of business.
    • Strong analytical skills including report development and trend analysis.
    • Collaboration skills; experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
    • Highly proficient in Excel and other data and reporting applications.

    For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $80,560 to $145,008
