PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The primary function of a trailer technician is to do preventive maintenance on box, flat and tank trailers.
Also, general repairs to electrical/lighting systems, suspension, bumper, abs/foundation brakes, s-cam replacement, wheel ends, air systems to include automatic tire Inflation system.
DESCRIPTION:
A TT2 trailer Technician must be able to diagnose electrical, suspension, ABS issues and other mechanical failures and make needed repairs once diagnosed.
He must be able to repair issues in the lighting or electrical system, properly diagnose and repair air leaks, perform wheel end inspection and maintenance, perform a brake shoe replacement and perform general repairs to the body and roof of the trailer.
Replace doors repair or replacement, scuff rail.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
