    This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse, RN professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually.Loyola Medicine's 3 hospitals are located approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Chicago. Gottlieb is a community-based hospital, in Melrose Park, IL.

    The 21 bed medical surgical unit specializes in orthopedics, but the majority of our patients are medical or post general surgeries. You will provide care to patients in various aspects of life from young adulthood to geriatrics. Working in a smaller community hospital will give you more autonomy and a greater voice to speak up as a patient advocate.

    We offer great support to new grad nurses through a year long new grad residency program. Experienced nurses get a well rounded orientation on the unit with a welcoming attitude from staff. We offer opportunities for advancements within the organization through the clinical ladder and certifications, as well as the ability to be engaged through numerous committees.

    To join our team good communication and collaborative skills are essential as you will work with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
