- Manage the tax strategy of dozens of clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and managing junior staff
- Oversee the preparation of tax filings in conjunction with the staff accountants Partnership + S Corp returns)
- Tax compliance
- Staying up-to-date with tax laws and deductions
- 2-4 years experience in tax preparation
- CPA or EA preferred, but not required
- Proficient in Excel and QuickBooks (willing to train if you don't have experience)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field

The Job
You will be a key member of our rapidly growing company. Working closely with the founder and the other staff, you will help our amazingly fun and creative clients with all things tax planning, tax strategy, and tax prep. You will not be relegated to the back room to just punch in numbers. You will be client facing and working on very unique projects. What you do will have a major impact on our clients' lives.
Given how quickly our firm is growing, you will have the opportunity to grow with the firm and have significant opportunities to take on more roles and responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Some work can be completed remotely, however, the primary location for this role is Richmond, VA. We have a young team that is working hard to grow the company as quickly as possible.
Qualifications
