    Research Associate I – Job ID# 090306 Are you looking for a new role running experiments at the bench alongside fantastic colleagues? Integral Molecular is a close-knit, medium-sized company composed of smart, curious scientists who take an active interest in promoting the learning and development of our team. Based in Philadelphia, we are focused on developing and applying innovative technologies that advance vaccines and antibody therapeutics targeting difficult proteins. We are searching for a Research Associate I to join our dedicated group of scientists on the development and commercialization of biomedical technologies. We need someone who can effectively manage the challenges of performing high throughput assays, be self-reliant when executing tasks and contribute as a collaborative, supportive team member. A desirable candidate will have the skills to culture mammalian and/or bacterial cells, perform DNA mini-preps, and complete bacterial transformations and cell transfections. Familiarity with flow cytometry and liquid handling robots are a plus As an early career scientist, this position offers you:

    What you will do at Integral Molecular:
    • Perform assigned tasks in the lab, including but not limited to DNA isolation, use of automated liquid handling machines, aseptic mammalian cell culture transfections/transformations and flow cytometry
    • Troubleshoot experimental issues
    • Follow SOPs to complete experiments and assays, including good record keeping
    • Analyze data and write customer reports
    • Independently plan a daily schedule, which may include balancing multiple projects simultaneously
    • Present data at team and company-wide meetings
    The ideal candidate will have:
    • Bachelor's degree in biology, bioengineering, or a related field
    • 1–2 years of laboratory experience (internships and student jobs are applicable)
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a team-based environment with a collaborative and proactive attitude
    • Motivated to excel in an environment dedicated to meeting customer deadlines
