    Description

    Pharmacy Manager Assistant at Rite Aid

    The main objective of this role is to support customers with their healthcare needs by filling prescriptions, providing top-notch customer service, and overseeing Pharmacy associates.

    Independent decision-making is crucial. The incumbent must perform all tasks safely in line with company policies and state/federal laws.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Ensure accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions filled
    • Build profitable business and script growth through clinical programs
    • Provide excellent customer service by addressing medical-related issues
    • Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and support staff
    • Assist Pharmacy Manager in training and managing associates
    • Manage the pharmacy in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager
    • Maintain Pharmacy department security
    • Comply with all laws and regulations
    • Resolve customer issues and build trust
    • Interact with physicians to gain prescription information
    • Maintain cleanliness and order in the Pharmacy department
    • Prioritize and ensure timely completion of tasks

    Qualifications:

    Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and Cashiers as per company policies and laws. Includes interviewing, hiring, training, directing, rewarding, and disciplining associates.

    Qualification Requirements: Bachelor's degree (BS), Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.), or equivalent in Pharmacy. Immunization Certification required.
