    Description

    GENERAL PURPOSE:
    Provides patient care in collaboration with a member of medical staff.


    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provides patient care consistent with the scope of privileges defined by the sponsoring department, written practice protocols, applicable state and federal laws regulations and in collaboration with other health members.
    • Completes daily patient evaluations and assessments per protocol. Documents pertinent findings in patient record.
    • Obtains medical history and performs medical examinations.
    • Instructs and counsels patients and families in collaboration with other health team members.
    • Performs routine procedures per protocol and established standards.
    • Writes medication and other medical orders.
    • Provide education for various learners.
    • Identifies and participates in research and quality assurance activities, as needed.
    Other duties as assigned.


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    AMA approved Physician's Assistant Program required. Previous experience in a health care setting preferred. Clinical competence from very acute, chronic and well patients required. Registered Physician's Assistant required.

    Pay Range

    Pay Range:
    $ 92,997 - $139,506 Annually

    _The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job.

    Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
