- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) to address a variety of communication disorders (articulation, language, fluency, voice).
- Provide effective speech and language therapy services using evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with teachers, general education staff, and parents to promote communication development across environments.
- Monitor student progress, analyze data, and document outcomes to measure effectiveness.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates students to reach their full potential.
- Hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from ASHA.
- Must possess a current Louisiana State SLP License.
- Prior experience working with children in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
- Possess a strong understanding of child development, speech and language disorders, and various treatment approaches.
- Demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Have the ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Maintain a positive and enthusiastic demeanor with a commitment to student success.

Natchitoches Parish School Board is seeking two passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team in Natchitoches, LA This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on students with communication needs across various grade levels (K-12). We offer both part-time and full-time positions with a start date of August 5th, 2024, and an end date of May 30th, 2025.
