    Facilities HVAC Technician

    Location:- San Jose, CA

    Duration:- 9 Months

    Pay rate:- $40 - $50/hr W2.

    Responsibilities of Facilities HVAC Technician

    • Performing job walks with the intention of receiving proposals/quotes for pricing comparison.
    • Act as liaison when contractors come onsite in addition to verifying their quality of work.
    • Responding to after-hours emergency calls and summoning additional assistance as needed.
    • Inspects building HVAC and plumbing systems to ensure equipment operation is within design capabilities and meets the client's environmental conditions.
    • Review historical maintenance records to develop proactive inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance schedules.
    • Performs other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to: door repairs, furniture & equipment moves, event set-ups, and MEP facility-related repairs.

    Requirements for Facilities HVAC Technician

    • HVAC Certified or High School Diploma with 5 or more years of equivalent job-related experience.
    • Working towards HVAC certification if not already obtained.
    • EPA Certified Experience
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a commercial building environment.
    • Experience with the implementation of a work order/asset management system.
    • Experience with centrifugal chillers.
