Description

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Business Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our Field Service Team by managing various day-to-day tasks, including:

Handling quoting and sales order management
Providing sales support and overseeing small, short-term projects
Coordinating with the outside sales force to address customer requests
Collaborating with Engineering to facilitate the creation of new part numbers and products based on customer specifications
Following up with customers regarding active quotations and existing orders

Experience in construction or as a general contractor is advantageous, as is direct experience in estimating or bidding for such projects.

This role involves interaction with various departments within our medium-sized organization, so strong interpersonal skills are essential. Additionally, comfort in a technical product environment is preferred.

Ideal candidates will have:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to manage discounts, percentages, and currency conversions effectively
Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute with 90% accuracy
Capability to read and analyze business information
Excellent presentation and customer interaction skills
