    Description
    CONTROLS ENGINEERControls Engineers demonstrate expertise in control systems, taking on the responsibility of guiding projects from conception to completion.

    They actively engage with clients to understand project requirements, contribute to cost estimation, and assume leadership in the design, construction, commissioning, and delivery of finished systems.

    Proficiency in PLC and HMI/SCADA programming is a fundamental requirement, and additional skills in relational databases and computer programming are viewed as advantageous.

    These professionals must possess strong writing abilities for the development of technical specifications and comprehensive Operation and Maintenance manuals.
    This position is based in Normal, IL. Relocation assistance is not provided. Local travel required.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESYou will be responsible for writing detailed specifications , design guides, and user manuals, as well as designing control systems for customers.

    You will program PLCs, build PC-based SCADA systems (Iconics, Citect, Intellution, Wonderware, etc.), and handle the complete in-house building and programming of systems.

    You will simulate, test, and debug systems internally, installing and starting up systems at customer sites, and provide technical support over the phone or on-site.

    You will be tasked with maintaining schedules for all current projects and assuming other duties as requested.
