- Design experiments, execute and troubleshoot for desired outcome
- Develop protocols and assays using eukaryotic cells
- Microdissection of tissues
- Culture and maintain different eukaryotic cell types
- Determine cell attributes using microscopy/FACS

- Proper documentation of experiments and maintain thorough records
- Ability to use small equipment following standard safety measures
- Insect rearing and handling
- Bachelor's/Master's in Biology, Entomology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology orelated field of study.
- 2+ years of related lab/research experience
- Basic computer skills
- Basic microscopy skills (optional)
- Ability to learn and apply new concepts and techniques
- Troubleshooting
- Work in diverse team environment
- Good communication skills

- Interest to read literature and learn

Randstad is seeking a highly motivated Biologist with a background in entomology / molecular biology to establish functional assays with different eukaryotic cell types. As the selected candidate, you will utilize cell biology techniques to deepen the understanding of complexity of cell types, their biology and functions promoting trait development for the company. You will help in establishing protocols and assays with eukaryotic cells using cutting edge technology and imaging systems.
