    EAST PROVIDENCE , RI 02914 US

    Job Description

    A leading company in their industry is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a full-time temporary to permanent position in East Providence, RI

    Responsibilities of Accounts Payable Clerk:

    -Enter invoice and financial data into computer systems

    -maintain relationships with several vendors and establish new vendors

    -Prepare and process all invoices

    -Match purchase orders and proof of delivery to invoice

    -Identify, research and resolve any discrepancies

    -Batch invoices and enter data into accounts payable system

    -complete payroll tasks

    -Maintain accounting information in electronic formats including spreadsheets

    -Prepare various reports on a monthly or as needed basis

    -Perform other tasks as assigned

    Requirements of Accounts Payable Clerk:

    -Previous experience working in Accounts payable

    -Must have a general understanding of accounting functions

    -Good time management and multi-tasking skills

    -Superior attention to detail and organizational skills

    -Great organizational skills

    -Strong Computer skills

    -Problem solver

    Hours: 9:00am-5:30pm Monday-Friday

    Pay Rate: $20.00-$22.00/hr based on experience
