We have a full-time, in-person role available for a board-certified Psychiatrist to serve as the inpatient BHU Medical Director of the Adult Unit at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland .

This role will perform leadership duties, including assisting with all quality and performance initiatives in support of the integrity of the BHU, representing adult psychiatry at all hospital meetings, serving as the point person for adult psychiatric topics, both clinical and administrative, and participating in program development and expansion.

Ensure all Employer psychiatry providers work to meet the required volume and quality expectations of the Hospital;
Participate in the recruitment, orientation, onboarding, and performance management of a competent group of providers;
Attend meetings as the Medical Director of the psychiatry service line;
Assess and screen patients by conducting psychiatric evaluations, including interviews, medical histories, physical exams, observations, and psychological testing;
Analyze data and results of assessments to diagnose patients;
