We hire people who genuinely care about patients solving healthcare challenges and making a positive impact every day Join us and help change the future of healthcare for the better Carbon Health is currently looking for a Primary Care PC Medical Assistant to work alongside an assigned PC Provider This medical assistant should be comfortable working in a fast paced individualized and paperless environment Daily tasks include taking vitals rooming patients cleaning rooms assisting with procedures etc As a PC MA you will work with your assigned provider to address long term health solutions for patients with a variety of concerns
Responsibilities
- Perform patient care by taking vitals patient history and triaging
- Assist with procedures such as incision and drainage lacerations and wound care Administer medications via intradermal intramuscular subcutaneous routes carry out ear lavages run EKGs Manage administrative responsibilities like prior authorizations insurance verification referrals
