    The role you'll contribute:


    The Cancer Registry Manager is responsible for planning and organizing the Network Cancer Committee, Cancer Conferences, and Cancer Registry operations for all assigned facilities in the Rocky Mountain Region.

    The Cancer Registry Manager will also have collaborative input into the local region cancer programs.

    Responsible for providing strategic direction to the Network Cancer Committee, in collaboration with the Cancer Committee Chairperson, to assure continued accreditation by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (ACoS CoC).

    Responsible for leading accreditation process and formulating action plans to address deficiencies.
    Oversees specialty accreditations for Cancer Institute such as but not limited to:

    National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), American College of Radiology (ACR), American Society of Clinical Oncology-Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (ASCO-QOPI), National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC).

    Responsible for leading interdisciplinary team in the development of clinical programs to meet accreditation requirements.
    Responsible for serving as content expert for cancer accreditation and registries. Provides department and operational leadership with best practice recommendations.

    Responsible for maintaining knowledge of current trends and practice by attending national conferences, continuing education programs and review of current literature.

    Responsible for overseeing clinical registry operations, including state and national data submissions, data quality assurance reviews, interpretation of regulatory standards, and overall program management.

    Qualifications

    The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:


    Bachelor's degree in nursing, Healthcare administration, Business or a related field (or in progress to be obtained within 24 months).

    Five years' experience as tumor registrar
    Three years progressive leadership experience
    Commission on Cancer (CoC) and (NAPBC) program accreditation experience
    Current, active Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) certification awarded by the National Cancer Registrars' Association (NCRA)
