I'm the interim medical director for Tri-City Medical Center located in Oceanside, California. I've been a part of Sound Medical Group for over 4 years now helping maintain and grow our hospitalist programs across the country. We are looking for a Hospitalist and welcome any Internal Medicine trained clinicians. I'd like to share more about who we are and what we do — specifically about our people, practice, and purpose — as you consider your options:

People

• We're a closely knit, established twenty- one clinician team with physicians, two advanced practice providers, and a CPN.
• Our team is comprised of highly experienced clinicians with a few newer doctors. Many of the part-time clinicians own private practice clinics too.
• We are non-geographic, and clinicians work independently. Some work on a dyad with an APP.
• Oceanside is located just 40 miles north of San Diego and 90 miles south of Los Angeles. The community is the quintessential definition of a Southern California beach town.
• The laid-back coastal city rests along the edge of the Pacific Ocean offering year- round pleasant temperatures and sunshine as the backdrop for endless adventures.

Practice

• The hospital is a full service, acute care public hospital with 365 licensed medical beds and a 28 bed ICU.
• Tri-City's is one of the largest employers in North San Diego County servicing the three major cities of Oceanside, Vista, and Carlsbad.
• This position is a full-time 1099 position. 7on/7 off schedule and a mostly day position with some nights. Yearly salary is $280k to $282k.
• Physician must be internal medicine trained.

Purpose

• Our hospitalist practice is very collaborative, and some of the clinicians have worked here for 20+ years. The team is deeply imbedded in the hospital, and some are also Physician Advisors and Chief of Staff. They are very proud of their community.
