    Job Specific Role Expectations

    2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:20pm-2:50am

    • Maintain dies and tooling to print specification as required.
    • Sharpen and shim dies with the supervision/support of a Toolroom Associate/Manager to die specifications
    • Heat treat all cutting tools to print specification
    • Perform machining duties as specified. Train/Mentor other associates in machining practices as required.
    • Perform preventative maintenance on dies to schedule (TRT)

    • Hardness testers
    • Heat treat processes
    • Hole Popper
    • Product/Tooling Inspection techniques
    • Measuring devises (micrometer, calipers, dial indicators, combination square, comparator, gage blocks, etc.)
    • Mathematical ability (including trigonometry)
    • Forklift license
    • Benchwork
    • Blueprint reading
    • Quality Management System (QS 9000 & TS16949 )
    • Crane license
    • Lock-out tag-out (authorized)

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Machinist Apprenticeship or 6 years experience
