    Job Summary: Our results-oriented and initiative taking Professional will help ensure the success of each program they oversee. The Program Director will research, plan, and implement outreach services that will ensure a successful outcome on behalf of the organization. This person will engage with the surrounding community partners to bring in additional resources, along with acting as a point of contact for surrounding community partners. This position serves as a key communicator through maintaining constant communication with the Leaders at our SBEV center in Chicago and Michigan, which include our Director of Education and Afterschool Coordinators. Top candidates will have previous experience in education and not for profit, along with holding roles of leadership is preferable. Duties:
    • Oversees the coordination and administration of programs that support the organization's mission
    • Programs include but are not limited to staffing, student and family communication, field trips, food programs, afterschool programs, and curriculum
    • Implements programs and changes to carryout the organization's mission
    • Engages with community partners in a proactive and friendly manner
    • Plans events to include but not limited to recognition, open houses, tours, surveys and testimonials
    • Collects pre/post data to improve processes and programs
    • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Education
    Qualifications:
    • Able to provide eligibility for employment for any U.S. employer
    • Bachelor's degree in education, or related field is preferred, or combination of experience/education; Master's Degree is a plus
    • Proven experience working as a Program Manager and implementing programs
    • 5+ years of previous experience is preferred
    • Strong leadership and listening skills
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    • A passion for teaching and advocating for students
    • Able to work compassionately with coworkers and students
    • Demonstrates enthusiasm, drive. creativity and assertiveness
    • Friendly, empathetic & respectful
    • Reliable in work results, timeliness & attendance
    • Ability to relate to and work effectively with a wonderfully diverse populace
    • Able to work in a fast-paced, and stressful environment while maintaining positive energy
