    MAJOR FUNCTION


    Assist the Credit team with day to day financial and clerical tasks to help with timely collections of customer AR balances.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Assist in collection of AR balances


    • Send out past due invoices via email
    • Retrieve proof of delivery information from freight carriers
    • Pull tracking information from LN
    • Research customer chargebacks and provide supporting documentation
    • Submit dispute cases to customer service for pricing and shortages
    • Communicate with Credit Representative on status and items needing further investigation
    Work on specific projects as needed, by customer


    • May include exporting invoice information
    • Generating pro-forma invoices
    Manage various mailboxes to route activity correctly

    Other AR duties, as needed and determined by Manager


    • Submit invoices in online customer portals
    • Clear matching transactions
    • Send/email statements monthly

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    EDUCATION:
    High school diploma


    EXPERIENCE:
    2 years of accounts receivable or office environment

    KNOWLEDGE &


    PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

    • Proficient in English
    • Professional email and phone etiquette
    • Ability to utilize an accounting system, such as SAP
    • Excellent attention to detail and organization
    • Ability to effectively communicate to customers, co-workers
    • Strong team player who will be able to meet deadlines

    COMPUTER SKILLS:

    • Proficiency in use of MS Excel, Word
    • Ability to comfortably navigate the internet on freight carrier portals and customer payment portals
    • Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports
    • Ability to utilize ERP system, such as InforLN experience a plus
