    Part of the Neuroscience portfolio, Cranial and Spinal Technologies (CST) is on a mission to redefine cranial and spinal procedures with the aim of enhancing outcomes and improving the quality of life for more patients.

    As part of the team supporting the Enabling Technologies platforms, you will be working on an innovative portfolio that includes robotics, navigation, intra-operative imaging, advanced energy devices, cerebral spinal fluid management, and critical care.

    Job Title: Clinical Consultant II, Surgical Synergy

    As a Clinical Consultant II, Surgical Synergy at Medtronic, you will play a crucial role by offering clinical, technical, and product knowledge support to both existing and potential customers.

    You'll be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, providing customer training at all levels, and generating key customer reports essential for supporting Medtronic NeuroSurgery/Navigation/Robotic Assisted Surgery products and services.

    This dynamic role is field-based and comes with a diverse set of responsibilities:

    • Coordinate, support, and collaborate with NRCs and other Surgical Synergy team members for on-site installations with our customers.
    • Represent Medtronic during technology-enabled procedures to provide technical assistance.
    • Maintain system hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.
    • Deliver telephone clinical support to customers.
    • Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel on technical matters related to our technology-enabled procedures.
    • Act as the primary Medtronic customer liaison for repair and technical support issues.

    Key Requirements:
    Minimum Requirements

    • High School Diploma or GED AND a minimum of 6 years of clinical, medical sales, or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience;
    • Associate's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of clinical, medical sales, or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience;
    • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of clinical, medical sales, or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience

    Nice to Have

    • RT and/or MRI certification
    • Prior experience with Image Guided Systems
    • Prior experience with MRI
    • Operating room experience

    Physical Job Requirements

    • Required to adhere to healthcare universal precautions to minimize exposure to infectious disease and radiation.
    • Ability to serve as the primary resource for clinical events, work during weekends, evenings, nights, and engage in overnight travel as needed.
    • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform tasks such as bending, stooping, squatting, and balancing frequently.
    • Specific vision abilities are essential for this role.
