Saint Paul, MN
Wage:
$30 - $45/hr.
Hours:
6 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Thursday, 6 am - 10:00 am, Friday

Duties
of the quality engineer:
Program Zeiss CMM with Calypso software for inspection purposes.
Conduct PPAP, Gage R&R, and Capability Studies.
Oversee First Article inspections.
Communicate quality requirements to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System.
Act as a customer advocate for QA-related issues.
Troubleshoot QA issues as they arise.
Conduct supplier audits and occasionally visit vendor sites to address supplier issues (minimal travel).
Review nonconformity reports and oversee an ISO-compliant calibration program for inspection tools.
Maintain accurate recordkeeping of all inspections and quality-related activities.
Requirements
of the quality engineer:
Minimum 2 years of experience programming Zeiss CMM with Calypso.
Strong understanding of PPAP, Gage R&R, and Capability Studies.
Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve QA issues efficiently.
Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems.
Strong recordkeeping and organizational skills.
