The Center for Cognitive Behavior Therapy, a growing group psychology private practice in East Brunswick, NJ, is looking to hire a neuropsychologist.

Neuropsychologist Position
The current position consists of providing testing, and, to the extent desired, therapy. Specific testing responsibilities include comprehensive neuropsychological and psychoeducational testing to children, adolescents, and young adults with a range of presenting concerns (e.g. ADHD, autism, learning differences); report writing; providing feedback to families; and providing consultation to school-based personnel. There are some opportunities to test adults if desired. In addition to testing, the candidate may provide evidence-based treatment to individuals and/or families. The candidate's areas of clinical expertise may align with or expand on our current ones. Current areas of expertise include autism spectrum disorders, feeding disorders, Tourette syndrome, trichotillomania, OCD and anxiety disorders, school refusal, ADHD, trauma, depression, and self-injury.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position is a vibrant and dynamic clinician, eager to help youth and families, and committed to using evidence-based practices. The candidate is excited to work in a collaborative environment as a key member of the team, develop their niche within the practice, and work alongside experienced psychologists who are experts in their respective specialties.
A doctoral degree in clinical or school psychology is required. Completion of a post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology is preferred. Training and experience with the ADOS-2 and/or school-based behavioral observations is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Full-time and part-time candidates will be considered. The position includes competitive compensation as a W-2 employee, participation in our 401K program with employer match, malpractice insurance, sick leave, flexible hours, and full admin support. We provide a professional development stipend to encourage our clinicians to stay current with evidence-based practices so we can best help the clients we serve.
The candidate will meet with our practice director regularly to ensure that they see the cases they are passionate about and have the schedule and volume of cases that works for them.
