- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their processes and requirements.
- Conduct thorough analysis of requirements to identify technical solutions, deliverables, and project scope.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure understanding of business requirements, translating them into system specifications and technical designs.
- Develop detailed functional and non-functional specifications, including user stories, use cases, process diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
- Perform gap analysis to assess the differences between the current and desired systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement.
- Facilitate requirements workshops and meetings, guiding discussions, resolving conflicts, and driving consensus among stakeholders.
- Collaborate with developers and testers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of software solutions, while ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and issue logs.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet business expectations and requirements.
- Constantly broaden knowledge of CICA's portfolio of applications across portfolios.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a relevant field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Have a good understanding of front-end portals/UI versus back end systems such as Policy Admin/Claims systems, etc. and intermediate interfaces/APIs.
- Have a good understanding of SharePoint and how to create trackers, create and administer sites to support the business and IT teams.
- Possess ability to decipher Azure, DFaS, PaaS, database architecture, micro-services/API design, etc. and be able to communicate that in a manner that non-IT folks can understand.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical requirements.
- Proficient in creating technical documentation using industry-standard tools and methodologies such as JIRA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Knowledge of data modeling, database management, and SQL queries.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, displaying a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
