Overview

CHENEGA FACILITES MANAGEMENT, LLC located in Fort Sill, OK is looking for a Bus Driver to join their team. As a Bus Driver, your main task will be transporting passengers efficiently and safely over designated routes according to schedules.

Responsibilities

• Comply with local traffic regulations and report any delays or accidents promptly.
• Inspect the bus before departure, checking gas, oil, and water levels.
• Service vehicle batteries as needed.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks like adjusting mirrors, tightening screws, and replacing light bulbs.
• Operate the car/bus wash and generator whenever necessary.
• Drive diesel or gas-powered vehicles along established routes.
• Conduct driver training and ensure all personnel are proficient in bus operations.
• Adhere to installation and State rules, ensuring seatbelts are worn at all times.
• Participate in Safety Meetings and Training classes.
• Keep the vehicle parking area clean and clear of oil spills and debris.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of four (4) years of driving experience preferred.
• Class "A" or Class "B" CDL required.
• "P" endorsement within 90 days of hire.
• Current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical card.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) for computer access.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude with customers and colleagues.

While on duty, the employee will be required to sit and communicate. Additionally, there may be repetitive movements involving arms, wrists, hands, or fingers. Occasional standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be needed. Lifting or moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds may be required. Specific vision abilities needed include close vision.
