    Our Sales team at Wellness Pet is made up of professionals who understand the difference our products make in the lives of pets.

    We are currently seeking a results-based, analytical sales professional to join our team.

    This field-based position is responsible for territory management in the Mid-Atlantic Territory, which includes Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia and West Virginia.

    Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Manager will be responsible for all sales fundamentals at the account and individual store level.

    What You'll Accomplish
    Manage pet specialty retailers in your assigned geographic area
    Assortment increases
    Ensuring pricing is within Wellness Pet Company guidance
    Improve shelving location and space
    Deliver results against set sales and placement quotas
    Report on sales activities
    Execute national promotions
    Conduct product seminars, attend trade shows, and attend other events with occasional weekend work
    Living the Wellness Pet values and culture and doing whatever it takes for the pets who depend on us

    This position is ideally suited for an individual who has excellent customer development skills, a strong analytical background, excellent verbal & written communication skills, and accountability for results


    Requirements include:
    The ideal candidate resides in eastern PA, NJ, DE, MD, or VA
    A BS Degree, strong sales background with CPG experience, and previous pet specialty experience is strongly preferred
    Go-getter mentality; willing to go the extra mile for customers and seek out new business opportunities
    Ability to self-direct, work independently and be flexible
    Computer proficient, especially in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM
    Ability to analyze the business across key sales fundamentals of assortment, merchandising, pricing, and shelving, turn this analysis into sales plans, and execute these plans with excellence
    Ability to travel approximately 80% of the time
    Passion for pets and their families
    Demonstrates positive attitude and takes a proactive approach
    Sees challenges as opportunities and translates them into actionable tasks
