About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Neonatologist for a locum tenens assignment in California.
This role begins on Apr 1, 2026, and spans a 1-day assignment, offering both day and night 12-hour shifts in 5-day blocks.
Candidates must have L3 NICU experience and be board certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide specialized care for neonates in a NICU setting
Manage complex cases involving critically ill newborns
Perform necessary procedures and oversee stabilization of infants
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care
Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
Adhere to evidence-based protocols and hospital policies
Additional Information
California medical license required
Board certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Prior NICU experience required
Experience using Epic EMR preferred
