    General Job Description

    The primary responsibility of the Business Strategic Analyst is to support the development, implementation, and management of strategic initiatives within the organization. This position plays a vital role in helping complex organizations navigate complex environments, achieve their strategic objectives, and drive sustainable growth and success. As well as assist in conducting research and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. This individual will collect and analyze data, develop forecasts and models, as well as prepare presentations to help inform business strategies.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Collect and analyze data from various sources to support strategic decision-making.
    • Conduct industry and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
    • Develop and maintain databases and models to support data-driven decision-making.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect data and insights to support business strategy development.
    • Assist in the development of strategic plans, roadmaps, and initiatives.
    • Prepare reports, analyses, and presentations to help inform strategic decision-making.
    • Monitor and track the progress of the strategic initiatives and recommend necessary changes or adjustments.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and external partners.
    • Collaborate with various departments and teams across the organization to facilitate the execution of strategic initiatives. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure buy-in and alignment with strategic objectives.
    • Support the creation of long-term and short-term strategic plans, including setting goals, defining metrics for success, and establishing timelines. Help ensure alignment between business strategies and operational activities.

    This position has managerial responsibility.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position.

    Monday-Friday, core work hours 1st shift

    Flexible hours to be available.

    Must be available to work weekends when requested by the Manager.

    Required Education and Experience

    • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing.
    • A B.S. in human resources, business administration, and related fields is required, as well as experience.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking abilities, and capability to interpret complex data and information.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
    • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
    • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
    • Familiarity with the industry in which the organization operates, including market dynamics, competitive landscape, regulatory environment, and emerging trends, can be advantageous.
    • Experience in strategic management, business analysis, market research, data analysis, and finance are beneficial. Additional coursework or certifications in project management, statistics, or strategic planning can also be advantageous.
