    Job Title: IAM Analyst

    About Us:

    We are looking for an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Business and Process Analyst who understands that the tools we develop are critically important to our ability to deliver exceptional customer service. This position is focused on supporting the activity of the IAM team, specifically with applications used by the Nordstrom Credit and Loyalty and Payment divisions. This individual will work closely with Engineers, Program Managers, and other Analysts as well as members of the Credit Business.

    The analyst will be an integral part of the IAM team and will use their skills to streamline, simplify and optimize the following:

    Application access provisioning and certifications.

    Automation opportunities.

    Documentation and Knowledge Articles.

    System issues and failures.

    As an Identity & Access Analyst you will?

    Support the functions of the IAM program: identity management, user role management, quarterly access certification.

    Engage with Credit application teams to understand access provisioning needs.

    Enforce organizational policies & procedures to ensure only authorized personnel have access to information in compliance with least privilege.

    Provide user account life cycle management, including provisioning, securing and inactivation of access for Nordstrom Credit applications.

    Facilitate user access certification campaigns.

    Analyze user access roles and security settings to independently assess compliance with defined standards.

    Along with the Program Manager and team, drive the evaluation of current methods, recommend, design, and implement process changes.

    Lead efficiency improvements and assist in solutions to automate repeatable tasks.

    Develop and maintain user requirements and acceptance criteria in JIRA user stories.

    Partner with engineers to determine themes and focus areas to improve overall quality of engineering activity & results.

    Use a security-oriented approach to ensure the protection of Nordstrom systems & data.

    Develop, validate, and maintain detailed documentation on standard operating procedures for internal team use and end user support.

    Participate and provide evidence in ongoing auditing and risk assessments.

    Provide operational support to end users and business partners.

    Troubleshoot and resolve user access problems.

    Provide input to internal and external audit reviews.

    Work across multiple Credit systems simultaneously.

    In depth knowledge of IAM concepts and best practices.

    Experience with enterprise identity management systems such as SailPoint IdentityNow.

    Working knowledge of the principle of least privilege, access provisioning methods including Role Based Access Control (RBAC).

    Strong understanding of IAM systems and how they relate to governance, identity lifecycle, account management, and application security.

    Familiarity with policies, standards and procedures associated with identity & access provisioning and governance.

    Experience with user access certification and attestation.

    Critical thinking skills to proactively assess a project or process and proven expertise in process re-engineering.

    Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Demonstrated a high level of research, analysis and follow through skills.

    Proven experience with streamlining or automating manual processes.

    Understanding of single sign-on (SSO), two-factor authentication, and privileged access management.

    Familiarity with current legal and regulatory requirements for information security and privacy, to include PCI, SOX, HIPPA, GLBA, etc.

    Experience with Microsoft Office products including SharePoint and Power Apps.

    Familiarity with enterprise directories (Active Directory, LDAP, etc.).

    Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation.

    A strong ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with employees, contractors, management, and technology stakeholders.

    Collaboration and influencing skills and building consensus through constructive feedback and effective listening.

    The ability to quickly adjust to changing situations and expectations and demonstrate willingness to learn new ways to achieve goals.

    Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing and ability to clearly articulate ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.

    Team-oriented interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a broad range of people and roles.

    Ability to respond quickly and comfortably to unexpected changes in routine.

    3 years of experience supporting IAM protocols and standards.

    3 years of hands-on experience planning, designing, and implementing IAM technologies and services.
