    Janitorial positions are available for the following days and times:

    First Shift openings 7am to 3pm; Second Shift openings 3pm-9pm

    Starting Rate: $13.00/hour


    SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall cleaning, sanitation and maintenance of the facilities through debris removal, and keeping areas clean, dirt and dust free.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes, but not limited to, the following.

    Ensure safety by using correct safety postings and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when needed.

    Clean restrooms, (empty trash receptacles, fill dispensers, sweep, mop floors, clean glass, sinks and toilets).

    Dust mop

    Detail restrooms.

    Clean vents and fixtures in restrooms.

    Dust and clean entrance door thresholds, frames and edging.

    Perform other similar and related duties as assigned by the Team Leader.

    Requirements

    SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Effectively communicate with the building occupants to accomplish assignments tasks.

    Work with all assigned personnel.

    Understand and follow written and verbal job instructions.

    Understand and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, customer rules and regulations, and safety rules and regulations.

    Support the company goals and objectives.

    Work in a team oriented and safety conscious environment.


    QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalency Preferred not required; one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to sixty (60) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance and color vision. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
