    Job Description:
    As a Medication Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents. You will be responsible for administering medications and monitoring residents' health . Your compassionate approach and attention to detail will help us maintain the highest standards of care.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
    • Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions to medications and report any concerns to nursing staff.
    • Maintain accurate records of medication administration and resident health status.
    • Assist in the preparation and organization of medication carts and storage areas.
    • Provide support to residents in their daily activities, fostering a sense of community and well-being.
    • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team regarding medication and health-related concerns.
    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in medication administration preferred.
    • Previous experience in a healthcare or assisted living setting is a plus.
    • Strong understanding of medications, their uses, and potential side effects.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing quality care.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
