- Oversee cashiers and volunteers and delegate tasks daily to ensure efficient running of the store and donation center
- Conduct and lead daily devotions and information meetings at the direction of the Store Manager
- Train new volunteers after they have completed the vetting process with the Volunteer Program Coordinator
- Establish highly respectful rapport with potential and current volunteers
- Attend meetings with varying Wellspring Living departments and staff as needed
- Maintain operations by enforcing policies and procedures
- Work to achieve budget goals set for the store by soliciting and merchandising donations of new or gently used furniture, household goods, and clothing
- Prepare and submit balanced daily reconciliation report of all financial transactions
- Make daily deposits at a local bank branch
- Assist with maintaining the flow of donations through the donation center and processing areas
- Greet and assist donors as they drop off their donations in the donation center; always operate with an attitude of gratitude for incoming items.
- Assure pricing policies are understood and followed by volunteers
- Refresh and display new donations on the sales floor daily
- Work with Store Manager to create and use successful advertising, sales promotions, and display plans
- Operate register and provide excellent customer service to shoppers
- Assist Store Manager with weekly email campaigns to be sent to all customers and volunteers
- Participate in and encourage teamwork within stores and across the entire Wellspring Living retail team
- Advocate for Wellspring Living to customers, volunteers, and the community within the surrounding area
- Attend third party events as a representative of Wellspring Living and Wellspring Treasures Peachtree City
- Be the point of contact for one-time serve day groups of volunteers; manage and direct them to complete needed tasks
- Develop intentional connections with the program participants, volunteers and staff members
- Lead by example in modeling the characteristics of a Mission Driven Professional
- Provide direction and encouragement to volunteers, participants and staff
- Model healthy boundaries to volunteers, participants and staff
- Embody the spirit of a lifelong learner
- Administrative, organizational, and computer skills including use of email and Microsoft Office suite of products
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of related experience, preferably in retail management
- Minimal travel across the Metro Atlanta area, as needed
- Ability to lift and move furniture and items (up to 40 pounds), clothing, and household goods as needed
- Ability to work upright for long time periods, such as standing and walking
- Satisfactory criminal history background check

Position Summary: The Wellspring Treasures Peachtree City Assistant Store Manager handles the daily functions of the Wellspring Treasures Peachtree City Store and works with the Store Manager on fundraising efforts by striving to develop highly successful strategies and relationships to achieve sales goals and obtain a steady flow of donations.
