    Multi-Year Contract engagement thru June 30, 2027

    Hybrid Role with some travel to Tallahassee, FL on an ad hoc basis. Florida residents preferred.

    The Talent Source is looking to engage an Application Architect with proven experience in the .Net, Azure stack for a direct contract with a large Florida Public Sector entity. Applications closing May 6th so please respond ASAP.

    Experience required includes:

    • Leadership of a successful development and implementation of an application in Azure development;
    • Eight years of architect, design and development experience with .NET application and Entity framework;
    • Ten years of experience with MVC;
    • Thirteen years of Object-Oriented programming, ASP.NET, JavaScript and application development using C#;
    • Six years of experience working on a project using Scrum methodology;
    • Six years of experience with Azure Build and Deployment automation processes;
    • Five years of experience with Azure DevOps, including pipelines, triggers, blob storage, data migration (between cloud and on-prem), data warehouse, scheduling VMs, and Webjobs, ADF, Graph API, ARM templates;
    • Five years of experience with integrating Azure AD into a web application using OpenID Connect;
    • Three years of experience with Azure ASE and integration with SQL MI;
    • Three years of experience with Azure Data Warehouse and integration and SQL MI;
    • Two years of experience with Power BI;
    • Five years of experience with Azure cost analysis;
    • Six years of experience with IIS environment for clients and servers;
    • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent with work experience.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    During the period of this engagement the Contract Consultant will perform the following tasks:

    2.1.1. Design, code, and document application architecture as directed by the Department;

    2.1.2. Provide technical training and guidance to development team members as directed by the Department;

    2.1.3. Provide technical guidance to product owner as directed by the Department;

    2.1.4. Assist Scrum Master with monitoring development team productivity as directed by the Department;

    2.1.5. Attend and participate in all ceremonies of a Scrum development project (planning sessions, stand-up sessions, review sessions, backlog grooming sessions, pointing sessions, and retrospective sessions) as directed by the Department;

    2.1.6. Conduct code review as directed by the Department; and

    2.1.7. Work with the Departments Office of Information Technology and development teams to analyze and minimize costs associated with the Azure environment.
