Job Description:
TTI Power Equipment, has an opening in its Anderson, SC facility for a Set Up Worker. We offer competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits packagetuition assistance, 401(k), medical/dental/vision coverage, vacation and holidays.
Responsibilities:
Start-up and shut down water, oil, gas and/or exhaust systems.
Provide line leaders with supplies required from the Tool Crib.
Set-up tooling as instructed for the assembly lines.
Store tooling as instructed in the warehouse.
Troubleshoot and repair tooling and equipment on the assembly lines.
Perform maintenance of tooling and equipment as per schedule.
Job Requirements:
Be able to read and write. Have simple math skills.
Support assembly line changeovers by preparing each station with the proper work instructions, material, fixtures and tooling such as drivers and wrenches.
Capable of interpreting and/or completing charts, schedules, reports, forms and records.Must possess physical dexterity sufficient to accomplish required tasks.
Must possess cooperative attitude toward coworkers and management.
Must operate equipment safely and wear specified PPE such as earplugs, safety glasses, etc., as deemed necessary for the safety of operator, coworkers and facility.
Capable of working in a standing position 100% of the time.Continuous mental and visual attention requiring constant alertness or activity.
Adhere to company's quality policy to provide customer satisfaction through high quality products, delivered on-time at a cost that represents value.
Adhere to 5S methodology which is to Sort, Set in Order (organize and identify), Shine (clean), Standardize and Sustain (maintain).Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.

Maintain equipment in clean and good working order, reporting equipment problems to supervisor.
Strive for continual improvement in departmental processes and functions.
