Responsibilities:

The Manufacturing Engineer will develop and maintain SOPs for packaging equipment, drive OEE improvements through process enhancements, conduct root cause analyses for swift issue resolution, serve as the SME for packaging equipment providing guidance and troubleshooting, optimize tableting and batching processes for efficiency and quality, support product development by collaborating with cross-functional teams, lead continuous improvement efforts in tableting and blending processes, develop cost-effective packaging solutions for new products, monitor equipment performance for preventive maintenance and upgrades, implement automation to enhance packaging efficiency and reduce errors, conduct training for packaging personnel on equipment operation and SOPs, ensure regulatory compliance in packaging processes, contribute to sustainability by optimizing materials and reducing waste, provide technical support during product changeovers to minimize downtime, stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, collaborate with vendors for packaging materials and equipment sourcing, analyze production data to identify process improvement opportunities and cost reduction strategies, and support capital expenditure proposals for equipment upgrades.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
