- Ensure materials meet quality specifications like grade, size, and moisture content
- Set up equipment according to specifications
- Feed materials according to guidelines
- Check equipment regularly to ensure specifications are met
- Offload, stack, and may cover, label, and band finished products
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Complete equipment inspection checklists
- Maintain production records
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures
- Participate in safety and quality programs
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Must work weekends
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 3 months of experience with saws or similar equipment
- Some experience in manufacturing and assembling preferred
- Basic math skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
