The CNC Machinist produces machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine maintaining quality and safety standards keeping records and maintaining equipment supplies.Responsibilities
- Understand work orders blueprints manufacturing orders machining parameters
- Maintain specifications troubleshoot detect malfunctions take appropriate actions know when to replace worn tools
- Cleanliness of workspace maintain continuity among shifts document communicate actions taken thus far any necessary further steps
- Any other task assigned supervisor or management
