- oversee day-to-day operations and successfully coordinate all required tasks through frontline staff
- deliver high quality food services including retail, catering and patient meal management operations
- manage all ordering and maintain appropriate level of inventory at all times

- chef experience a plus, as this person will occasionally step in during staff shortages to keep food production line on track

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for NY Presbyterian Westchester Hospital in Bronxville, NY
NY Presbyterian Westchester (formerly Lawrence Hospital), a 288-bed facility, is home to a cancer center, maternity center, breast health center, two cardiac catheterization labs, and a state-designated Stroke Center. They provide advanced services such as minimally invasive surgery, state-of-the-art orthopedic care, and access to clinical trials.
The Food Operations Manager 2 at this location will be a part of the food services management team responsible for providing high quality food for both cafeteria and patient services area. Reporting to the General Manager, this Food Operations Manager will manage a team of approximately 40 employees. Schedule for this role is Mon-Fri (dayshift) and every 3rd weekend (hours may vary per needs of unit).
