Job summary
The Nursing Retention Specialist position is responsible for working with nursing students of various cultures who are experiencing academic difficulty. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to function as an effective team member.This position requires a Master's degree in nursing and at least three years of direct or related work experience, exclusive of teaching. Experience as a learning/remediation/study skills specialist, test administration and measurement skills, tutoring and mentoring students in areas such as time management, organization study skills and stress management are also preferred.
