    *PAY RANGE: $29.70/hr.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    We are seeking a Test Technician for a space exploration company in Huntsville.

    • Reviewing, editing, and following test procedures and processes.
    • Operation of test facility and ground support equipment.
    • Working with engineers on design concepts and facility improvements.
    • Planning and executing assembly for complex mechanical systems.
    • Safely working with hazardous chemicals and high pressure systems.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvements to promote workplace safety.
    • Must be able to assemble, tool-up, and de-tool test components & test setups by using hand tools, torque wrenches, gauges, hydraulic lifts, and electronic meters.
    *ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 1-3 years in assembly, test, automotive, rocket engine or jet engine testing, or rocket engine test facility support.
    • Ability to work with test and flight safety critical hardware.
    • Ability to work with standard mechanical tools and shop fabrication equipment. Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics.
    • Ability to lift 40 lbs.; work in adverse weather conditions; climb stairs and ladders
