    Job Summary:

    In accordance with the organization's mission, vision and values, the Senior Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for supporting the implementation of agency strategic goals. This includes a strong emphasis on strengthening integrated care and care collaboration across the system. Helping develop new programing and training teams to keep up with advances in the field through a variety of methods is critical. This includes role modeling through maintaining a rotation of MDT participation, supervision, and covering gaps in clinical care as needed to help provide in the moment coaching to team members while ensuring business continuity, and case reviews. Development and provision of formal trainings to help develop clinical workforce rounds out the methods needed.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    QHP Required as well as license in behavioral health including but not limited to LCSW, LMHC, LCAT, LMFT. Three years of behavioral clinical experience in co-occurring/integrated treatment. Valid NYS Drivers' License. Expertise with harm reduction, evidenced based practices for both mental health and substance use issues, stages of change model, and familiarity with family treatment needed. Familiarity with children's services preferred.

    Duties:

    1. Responsible for supporting the day-to-day clinical operation and quality of agency programs through training and strengthening team members and operational structures.

    2. Ongoing development of policy and procedures, workflows, and innovative strategies and designs.

    3. Evaluate client and community needs, ensuring supervisors have the skill needed in review and implementation of treatment/recovery care plans.

    4. Provide coordination with team members to assure comprehensive services are developed, managed, and implemented for our clients.

    5. Ensure compliance of case records, optimal clinical outcomes, and clinical improvement.

    6. Monitor scorecards to ensure metrics are at target and providing collaborative intervention where needed.

    7. Lead and participate in general, staff, in-service and supervisory meetings held by the Agency.

    8. Maintain positive and effective relationships with community groups, referral sources and service agencies.

    9. Provide routine clinical supervision as assigned and ensure all staff in the agency are supervised within scopes of practice, including during leadership absences or transitions.

    10. Participate at the senior level of the on call rotation.

    11. Responsible for, but not limited to, ensuring quality from staff in direct diagnostic evaluative services to clients referred to this Agency by many varied referral sources. To assess the client's primary and secondary diagnosis and, thus, need for further counseling.

    12. Participate in community presentations and training programs.

    13. As required, direct activities of program staff to ensure clinical quality and outcomes.

    14. Assist clients in addressing issues and challenges by role-modeling appropriate responses and through training and strengthening clinical leaders and team members.

    15. Help develop and provide training focused on clinical skills and competencies including evidence-based practices, best practices in the field, and advancements in the field.

    16. Recruits, screens and interviews prospective staff.

    17. Assist in the development and strengthening of integrated behavioral health care in the agency.
