    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.

    We are seeking a Special Education Teacher to work with a severe needs caseload in Roseville, MN.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individualized and small group instruction to students with a range of disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, autism, and physical disabilities.


    Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
    Provide individual and small group instruction to students with severe needs
    Use evidence-based teaching strategies and assistive technology to support student learning
    Collaborate with other educators and support staff to provide a comprehensive and integrated education program
    Assess and monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
    Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and participation in the program
    Participate in IEP meetings and other related meetings as required by the school district


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
    Valid Minnesota teaching license with Special Education endorsement
    Experience working with students with severe needs
    Knowledge of evidence-based teaching strategies and assistive technology
    Strong communication and collaboration skills
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
